Help us Build up the well!
The biggest difficulty to first responders seeking help is the attached stigma and wrong belief that if first responders need counseling, they are weak or incapable of doing the job.
The Well wants to provide a safe and trusted space dedicated to first responders and their families to decompress and to help first responder’s transition from work to home.
Because of the trauma and anxiety that first responders can experience at work they often need at least 30 minutes to themselves before they are ready to take on the demands at home.
Our vision it to be more than a counseling center but also a place where we can provide the space where first responders can support one another and find common ground.
